RGB image, natural colours daytime RGB image (1.6 µm + 0.8 µm + 0.6 µm) is observable in daylight. Sattellite images are in local time. NB! New satellite images appear here with 25 minute delay.
The legend of day natural colours imagery:
Thick ice cloudiness (Cb, thick Cs). Colour of nontransparent cloudiness is determined by properties of its upper boundary and do not directly give information about cloud cover thickness
Thin ice cloudiness (Cs, Ci, Cc). Colours are strongly variable in dependence on solar illumination
Water and mixed-phase cloudiness (Ac, As, Cu, Sc, St). Cloudiness, which is lower and consists of larger droplets, is darker and more reddish
Cumulus clouds (Cu)
Cumulonimbus cloud (Cb)
